Homewood Living Plum Creek has a strong and deep-rooted Christian tradition of service and excellence. We are one of five communities operated by Homewood Living Ministries, which was founded more than 90 years ago as a small church ministry dedicated to serving seniors in one local community. Today, nearly a century after our humble beginnings, we continue to be committed to Christ and care for those who live and work on our campus. For us, this means we are dedicated to welcoming and serving everyone in our communities, no matter their faith or background. When you choose Homewood Living Plum Creek, you are choosing a community where you are family.

Our History

Homewood Living Plum Creek

Homewood Living Plum Creek has been serving the Hanover community since 1957.  Originally located in a downtown hotel in Hanover, Pennsylvania, we moved to our current location on Westminster Avenue in 1990 to meet the needs of our growing community.  Our current campus has grown to encompass 100 acres of beautifully developed property, and an additional 188 acres planned for future development. 

Today our campus offers a full spectrum of care and services designed to support every stage of your retirement journey.  With beautifully appointed residential living homes and apartments, personal care, nursing care, rehabilitative services and memory care, Homewood Living Plum Creek is the perfect community for your retirement.

Homewood Living Ministries

More than 90 years ago, Homewood Living Ministries was founded on a commitment to Christ and caring for seniors. As a Christian ministry and nonprofit, we offer an exceptional retirement living experience to more than 2,000 residents across five vibrant retirement campuses throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania. We currently have communities in:
